Koyipuram Family Get-together: Report
The first get-together of the Koyipuram family took place at Mammachayan’s house on Sunday, the 11th of November, 2018. Around fifty people including kids participated in the function. A prayer by George-chayan (George kutty, Kottarakara) was followed by a Welcome Speech by the host, Santosh Mammen. Subsequently, Daschayan and Letty Amamma gave a short speech.
Following the first phase, Sharly Benjamin gave a reading of the family history. Molly Ammamma (Kottarakara) shared her memories with the audience. Santosh Baby spoke about the importance of family life in today’s context.
Later during the day, the gathered family members sang the song, ‘Njanum, Enikkulla Sarvasavum’ (Me and All that belongs to me, reminisce our Lord). The song was led by Regi (Oomen Jacob), Latha and Anju as a family.
The Quiz Competition (Stevin Baby-Quiz Master, Sarosh Thomas-Winner), Lucky Persons of the Day Lucky Dip (Winner: Pinju- Adv: Thomas Philip) and so forth took place afterward.
The suggestions forwarded by Rajachayan (Canada) were narrated. The proposition to plan and announce the next get-together in advance was accepted. The next get-together was scheduled for the next Pooja Holidays with the tentative date being Sunday, 7th October 2018. The messages from Kollam Babuchayan and Joyichayan were then read out by Roy. Sarosh Thomas and Sharly Benjamin were given the responsibility for organizing the next get-together.
Daschayan, Monachayan (Dr John Zachariah), Shaji Benjamin, Stevin, Sarath and Ajin honoured Mammachayan and Kunjammamma by presenting them with a ponnada (golden shawl).

ഷാർളി ബെഞ്ചമിൻ കുടു:ബ ചരിത്രം വായിച്ചു. മോളി അമ്മാമ്മ (കൊട്ടാരക്കര) കുടു:ബത്തിലെ ഓർമ്മകൾ പങ്കിട്ടു. സന്തോഷ് ബേബി കുടു:ബ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം വിവരിച്ച് പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.
'ഞാനും എനിയ്ക്കുള്ള സർവ്വസവും ... ' എന്ന ഗാനം എല്ലാവരും കൂടി ചേർന്ന് പാടി. ഗാനത്തിന് റെജി ( ഉമ്മൻ ജേക്കബ്) ലത, അഞ്ചു എന്നിവർ കുടു:ബമായി നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
ക്വിസ് മത്സരം (സ്റ്റെവിൻ ബേബി - ക്വിസ് മാസ്റ്റർ , സരോഷ് തോമസ് - വിജയി), ലക്കി പേർസൺ ഓഫ് ദി ഡെ ലക്കി ഡിപ്പ് ( വിജയി, പിഞ്ചു - അഡ്വ: തോമസ് ഫിലിപ്പ്) തുടങ്ങിയവ നടന്നു.
ഫേബയുടെ (തെങ്കാശി രാജച്ചായന്റെ മകൾ ) ജന്മദിനം കേക്ക് മുറിച്ച് ആഘോഷിച്ചു.
രാജച്ചായൻ (കാനഡ) അയച്ച നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ വായിച്ചു. അടുത്ത കൂടിച്ചേരൽ മുൻകൂട്ടി അറിയിക്കണം എന്ന നിർദ്ദേശം ഉടനടി നടപ്പാക്കി. അടുത്ത വർഷം പൂജ അവധിയ്ക്ക് ഒക്ടോബർ, 7, ഞായർ ഒത്തുചേരാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. കൊല്ലം ബാബുച്ചായൻ, ജോയിച്ചായൻ എന്നിവരുടെ സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ റോയി കൈമാറി. കുടു:ബയോഗത്തിന്റെ ഭാവി കാര്യങ്ങൾ ക്രമീകരിക്കാൻ സരോഷ് തോമസിനെയും, ഷാർളി ബെഞ്ചമിനെയും ചുമതലപ്പെടുത്തി.
ദാസച്ചായൻ, മോനച്ചായൻ (ഡോ. ജോൺ സക്കറിയ), ഷാജി ബെഞ്ചമിൻ, സ്റ്റെവിൽ, ശരത്, അജിൻ തുടങ്ങിയവർ മാമച്ചായനെയും കുഞ്ഞമ്മാമ്മയെയും പൊന്നാട നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു.
വൈകിട്ട് നാലിന് എൽസി അമ്മാമ്മയുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെ കുടുംബയോഗം അവസാനിച്ചു.

With great sorrow let me pass this information. Our beloved Elammamma ( Alyamma Jacob wife of Late Jacob Daniel, Nedumangadu) expired today ( Jan 22 ,2017) morning at Nedumangadu. Funeral will be announced later. For me it is a great loss and she is so beloved to me. Let us pray for her and offer heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.

We are blessed with a baby boy
on 17/09/2012 (Sept 17th). We have named him Evan Anish Oommen.
One notable factor is, Mon
Uncle, Letty Aunty and Vijayam Aunty who took me out of my mother's womb were
the same doctors to deliver Evan too. :-)

Dear family member
With great sorrow let me pass this information. Our beloved family member K.P Thomas (Kunjuchayan - 92 years) expired today ( Dec.13th) afternoon at Punalur, Poyyanil hospital. He was a great leader and uphold the true values of love and affection. The funeral will be on Thursday(Dec 15th) at Karavaloor Bethal Marthoma Church. For me it is a great loss and beloved to me. Let us pray for that great soul and offer heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
